Located within one of the city’s most vibrant West End neighbourhoods, MOCA Toronto provides a unique opportunity to host your event within the iconic Tower Automotive Building’s signature concrete columns. Floor 1 can be easily transformed into a dramatic space for events, including private parties, galas, cocktail receptions, panels, talks, and corporate events, with spectacular artworks lending the perfect creative ambiance. Groups can also rent an office space for meetings and staff away days for small teams of up to 12 people.

Yes, we can host wedding ceremonies and receptions. The artwork remains in place, creating a unique experience for your guests. There are no wedding premiums; our rental pricing is clear and straightforward for all events.

For Floor 1 rentals, including any time needed for setup and takedown, must operate outside of our public opening hours of:
Wednesday, Thursday: 11 am–5 pm
Friday: 12–9 pm
Saturday, Sun: 10 am–5 pm
For meeting room rentals, such as the Executive Office and The Nook, bookings can take place at any time. However, additional staffing costs may apply for meeting room rentals scheduled outside of standard office or museum hours.
Yes, the artworks on show at MOCA remain in situ during all rental periods. This provides our guests with a unique and exciting experience of dining, meeting, or celebrating in the midst of incredible contemporary art.
We primarily rent out Floor 1, but we also offer access to Floors 2 and 3 at an additional cost. We can also provide one of our office spaces for meetings and other small-scale activities.
Yes, you are welcome to utilize your own catering during your rental. MOCA also has catering partners that we can recommend.
A landmark fee applies to all food and drink before tax. The fee is 15% when using our preferred caterer and 20% for non-preferred caterers.
The capacity of Floor 1 is 200 people. For details on capacity in other spaces, please refer to our brochure.
Our rentals are primarily for venue use only, which means you host and manage your own event, including catering, décor, setup, and teardown. If you would like our team to assist with event coordination, setup, or teardown, we can provide a quote for event support services.
Any applicable fees are provided to the client in their quote. The fees below are the additional fees that might apply to your rental.
A cleaning fee of $250 applies to all Floor 1 rentals.
A landmark fee also applies to all food and drink before tax, which is 15% when using our preferred caterer and 20% for non-preferred caterers.
