Building on his site-specific commission for MOCA’s South Stairwell Series last exhibition season titled Between two facts, Kieran Adams will present a live set titled Going Spaces at the museum from 8–8:45 pm on Friday September 29th
Taking inspiration again from the architecture of MOCA’s stairwell — and specifically the sonics that it produces — Adams’ set will re-imagine pieces and elements of previous sound works he has made over the years. This audio will be fed into the museum’s concrete stairwell and back out into the performance area: a playful exploration of utilizing space to amplify, distort, and mediate.
