Celebrate the opening party of MOCA Toronto’s Spring 2026 season on Thursday, May 14, from 8–10 pm. Get an exclusive first look at two major exhibitions: Kimsooja: Dimensions of a Needle and Sara Cwynar: Baby Blue Benzo Beta, alongside a new audiovisual project by Thenjiwe Niki Nkosi: Suspension (2020).
This season unfolds across the museum with works that shift between powerful stillness and fast-paced intensity. Kimsooja’s site-specific installations invite moments of quiet reflection through textile, ceramics, and video. In contrast, Cwynar’s ambitious film and image-based works immerse visitors in the rapid current of contemporary image culture. Nkosi’s Suspension (2020) extends the experience through sound and moving image as part of the South Stairwell Sound Series.
