Join MOCA for a pop-up poetry activation with Poesy on Friday, February 13 from 6–9 pm. Using a vintage typewriter, Poesy creates custom poems inspired by the stories, gestures, or moments you share. Your poem becomes a keepsake to take home with you.
Whether you come alone, with a friend, or with a partner, experience poetry unfolding in real time, surrounded by art and the energy of the museum. Make it a memorable start to your Valentine’s Day plans—why wait until Saturday? Let poetry, art, and a little inspiration extend the celebration into Friday.
About the Poets
Amana Park (she/her) is a multidisciplinary poet and community builder who believes in the healing power of storytelling. Through poetry, painting, film, and performance, she creates spaces where people can connect, feel seen, and process their own journeys. Her work is rooted in care, reflection, and bringing communities together through art.
Daniella Zanchi (she/her) is a Toronto-based poet and the founder of Poesy, Canada’s only agency for writing experiences. Through typewriter poetry, she’s shining a light on personal stories and bringing people together through the joy of shared words.
