New to Canada? Take part in our Access to Art programme and connect with Toronto’s vibrant art scene over conversation, crafts, and refreshments for this special edition of Art Hive at MOCA!
On Tuesday, February 17, join us as we reflect on the personal meaning of home. Using found imagery and collage techniques, participants are invited to create an accordion zine that considers the themes of community, connection, and home. As part of this special Art Hive, see the works from Jeff Wall Photographs 1984–2023 during a guided tour beginning at 5 pm.

What is an Art Hive
Art Hives provide free, community art-making spaces open to everyone, aiming to foster a welcoming environment for all participants. You don’t need to have any experience making art to join.
This programme draws from the research and practice of Dr. Janis Timm-Bottos, a professor at Concordia University. Learn more about Art Hives here.
As part of MOCA’s commitment to accessible programming, Art Hive is always free to attend and all materials are provided. All skill levels are welcome. This session is specifically designed for newcomers to Canada and fosters a supportive and welcoming environment. This event is facilitated by practicum Art Therapy students from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute.
