Join Kathleen Bartels, MOCA Executive Director, for an exclusive tour of Kimsooja: Dimensions of a Needle. This guided experience offers a unique opportunity to explore the exhibition through a curatorial lens, gaining deeper insight into one of today’s leading conceptual artists.
Covering Floors 1 and 3, the exhibition unfolds through Kimsooja’s enduring metaphor of the needle—an axis, threshold, and point of encounter. As you move through the galleries, Bartels will reflect on key works, from suspended textiles and video to ceramics and photographic series, exploring how Kimsooja engages themes of handcraft, female labour, migration, memory, and transformation.
This tour is available to MOCA Members Individual and up. Capacity is limited and registration is required. Upgrade or renew your membership at a new level to gain more access—email membership@moca.ca to learn more.
