Collective Views: A Symposium on Photography in Toronto

Tuesday, March 10, 2026
 – Wednesday, March 11, 2026
 | Cost varies
Locations: MOCA Toronto & AGO

This symposium offers a chance to reflect on Toronto and its relationship to photography. Across sessions spanning the 1970s to the present, it brings together artists, artworks, cultural figures, scholars, exhibitions, organizations, collections, art schools, and publications that have shaped evolving understandings of the city and the medium—revealing Toronto as a place where photography continues to be vital, generative, and connective.

The symposium is co-presented on the occasion of Collective Visions: Celebrating 25 Years of Photography at the AGO and Jeff Wall Photographs 1984–2023 at MOCA.

All bookings are managed through the AGO website. If you are a MOCA Enthusiast, Catalyst, Sustaining Member or a MOCA Individual, Family/Dual Member, check your inbox for an email from MOCA with a link to receive special pricing on individual sessions.
