Hosted by MC/DJ Kesteeze, bringing beats that’ll have you on your feet all night long!
Dress to impress in your favourite artist-inspired outfit, grab a drink at the bar, and explore the exhibitions on Floors 2 and 3 after dark. Plus, get a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse of MOCA’s Ground Floor after the art comes down.

Kesteeze is a dynamic force in the entertainment world, seamlessly blending his skills as a DJ, MC, dancer, and ultimate hype man.
Whether he’s curating smooth, stylish dinner tunes or turning up the energy at parties and events across the GTA, Kesteeze knows how to keep the vibes immaculate.
As the in-house host for The Funktion, Kesteeze shares the stage with the powerhouse trio of Rita, Lad, and Rosie, creating unforgettable experiences that bring people together for the ultimate burlesque experience.

Sweet Rosie Mae has been shaking up Toronto’s burlesque scene for over a decade. You might’ve spotted her in the indie film Becoming Burlesque, or playing herself as a cabaret dancer in the TV show Titans. She’s also performed burlesque at the Virtual Burlesque Hall of Fame, Toronto Burlesque Festival, Toronto Fringe Festival, and more.
Recently, Rosie’s been busy creating and producing The Funktion—a live music and burlesque show as well as a workshop series. As a seasoned dance teacher and burlesque instructor, she’s guided countless newcomers to the burlesque stage through her studio, The Funktion House.

Rita Ann’tique is a queer burlesque artist, performer, and producer who swapped the prairies of Calgary, AB, for Toronto. With a BFA in dance under her belt, Rita discovered her love for the art of stripping and has been teasing and teaching her way across Canada since 2017. David Silverberg at Now Magazine lauded her as “some of the inspiring talent flourishing in the Canadian dance community.”

Newfound Lad is a Toronto based burlesque performer. A member of BoylesqueTO, Canada’s premiere boylesque troupe, you might’ve seen him in action when the troupe snagged the “Most Comedic” award at the Burlesque Hall of Fame. When he’s not performing, Newfound Lad helps grow the burlesque community as a founding board member of the Atlantic Burlesque Festival in Halifax, NS.
