Drop-in Workshop

10 am–3 pm

Build sculptures as tall as your imagination and create unique works of art! Using colourful pre-cut card-stock shapes, you’ll assemble sculptural structures, with no experience needed. Then, let your creativity roam as you explore MOCA for free this TD Community Sunday!

This activity is inspired by exhibiting artist Jessica Stockholder, known for her dynamic “paintings in space”. Her site-specific installation on Floor 1 transforms the museum into an environment in motion, blending painting and sculpture in sensational ways.

TD Community Sunday is part of MOCA Community Weekend, a monthly series of activities, bringing together the community for art-making workshops, tours and events. Learn more about our family programming here.

On TD Community Sunday admission to the museum is free all day. Tickets can be obtained ahead of time or at the door. Book in advance to reserve your spot!
