Following the impact of Amplified Opera’s inaugural AMPLIFY Beta in 2019, the arts organization and Disruptor-in-Residence at the Canadian Opera Company returns to live performance this March with AMPLIFY 1.0, a concert series highlighting diverse stories and perspectives within classical music. AMPLIFY 1.0 will feature three separate programmes curated to represent the chosen artist’s personal and professional experiences on a specific theme. Each evening offers a double bill of concerts performed on the Ground Floor of the Museum, activating and enlivening Jeffrey Gibson’s installation I AM YOUR RELATIVE. Performances run from March 17 until March 20, 2022.
