Thinking about bringing your class to MOCA this season? Join us on Sunday, April 27 from 10am–12pm for an educator preview!
This free event welcomes educators to the museum for a free tour of our exhibitions, a preview of our hands-on art activities, new offerings, and coffee and tea. Preview what a field trip at MOCA will be like and explore new works of art with your colleagues. This is your chance to ask questions, create and plan for your next outing!
This season at MOCA, see exhibitions and projects from Canadian and international artists Jessica Stockholder, Justin Ming Yong, Alex Da Corte, Margaux Williamson, and Jennie C. Jones. Explore their work across various mediums including painting, sculpture, installation, video art and textiles. Make classroom connections as our tours explore not only visual art but also social studies, film, language and history.
MOCA invites teachers, professors, and community educators to participate in this preview night. This includes individuals who teach in elementary schools, secondary schools, colleges and universities, as well as those who volunteer or work for educational clubs or community groups.
