Meet us outside for a special edition of MOCA Movement: Pilates at the Museum, taking place just behind the museum at Sterling Road Park with our neighbourhood partner Mosaic Yoga. With Alex Da Corte’s lightbox installation as your backdrop, move through your Pilates flow under the open sky, surrounded by the energy of MOCA’s vibrant urban setting.
This session draws inspiration from Margaux Williamson’s paintings, which are deeply rooted in the textures and rhythms of Toronto’s natural and built landscapes. After your class, stick around to explore the museum, including Williamson’s exhibition Shoes, Books, Hands, Buildings and Cars.
You must bring your own yoga (or Pilates) mat to participate. We also recommend bringing a sealable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the Pilates session. Doors will open at 8:45 am, and we encourage you to arrive early to get settled and change if needed.
This event requires registration as capacity is limited.
The Class
