Join MOCA’s Artistic Director and Curator, Rui Mateus Amaral, for an exclusive, in-depth tour of  Jeff Wall Photographs 1984–2023. This guided experience offers a rare opportunity to explore the exhibition through a curatorial lens, gaining deeper insight into one of the most influential photographic practices of the past four decades.

As you move through the galleries, Mateus Amaral will reflect on key works across the exhibition, unpacking Wall’s distinctive approach to image-making and the complex processes behind his photographs. 

Delve into how the exhibition was developed and shaped. Gain insight into how these curatorial decisions influence the way Wall’s photographs are encountered, read, and understood within the gallery space.
