Join MOCA Toronto on January 8, 2023 for the final TD Community Sunday workshop of the exhibition season and learn how to make your own pop-up books!

Drawing inspiration from Martin Boyce’s work Future Blossom (For Yokeno Residence), part of the current exhibition Thomas Demand HOUSE OF CARD, as well as Demand’s pop-up book, Mundo de Papel, participants will be guided through some simple techniques and methods for creating pop-up books with paper and cardboard. Following this, participants are invited to play with these methods to create their own pop-up book or card.

This workshop welcomes participants of all ages and skill levels and will be led by MOCA’s Arts Educators. It will take place on MOCA’s Ground Floor behind Rirkrit Tiravanija’s installation untitled 2013 (thomas demand’s here), 2022.
