TD Community Sunday: Night Walk Reading and Workshop by Illustrator Ellie Arscott

Join illustrator Ellie Arscott for a reading of her debut picture book Night Walk, written by Sara O’Leary. Ellie will take participants on a journey that explores how she developed the style and imagery for the book, engaging the audience with guiding questions and arts-based activities. To learn more about Night Walk, please visit House of Anansi and Groundwood Books here.

Prior to the programme start time, please explore the activity guide for Night Walk linked here. Ellie will be giving a tutorial on how to construct buildings for your own Night Walk neighbourhood which is located on page seven of the guide. If possible, please print this page, or trace the building outline onto a blank piece of paper or cardboard beforehand.

For a look into Ellie’s design process, view her video on the making of Night Walk here.
