Join MOCA for its first iteration of Summer Break Programming from Monday, July 4 to Sunday, July 10. This series of programmes is brought to you in partnership with The Concerned Kids, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating children about important social issues through uniquely developed arts activities. Each day will bring forth a new activity, developed in association with TCK’s Creatability programme and has a focus on emotional wellness. Each activity is inspired by the current exhibitions at MOCA including; Jeffrey Gibson’s I AM YOUR RELATIVE, Shirin Neshat’s Land of Dreams, Felix Gonzalez Torres’s Winter and Xuan Ye’s It Takes Spirals to Feed the Spiral.
The Concerned Kids (TCK) provides immersive creative arts programming through their KidPossible and KidsmARTs workshops. With the help of professional artist facilitators, TCK encourages artists of all ages to express themselves through various art mediums within a variety of workshops and programmes that promote art exploration and wellness.
