Nuit Blanche: It All Makes Sense by Stephanie Comilang

Saturday, October 5, 2019
 – Sunday, October 6, 2019
 | 7:00 pm
 – 7:00 am
 | Free

Stephanie Comilang creates a video, light, scent and textile installation for Nuit Blanche. It All Makes Sense recreates a memory of the first time Comilang saw Perfumed Nightmare by Kidlat Tahimik — a figure who, like Comilang’s father, comes from Baguio, a mountain city and old American airbase in the Philippines. This teen moment in a basement changed Comilang’s perspective on life.

For Nuit Blanche only, performers will activate the evening and sinigang soup will be served at 9pm (limited quantity)!

Comilang is a contributing artist to the concurrent exhibition Age of You (Sept 5, 2019 – Jan 5, 2020) curated by Shumon Basar, Douglas Coupland and Hans Ulrich Obrist.

From 7pm to 2am:

Clouds & Horizon: A Project of Art Metropole

It All Makes Sense runs October 5 to 13.
