Join MOCA and Jingle Dancer Brianna Olson-Pitawanakwat for a Jingle Dress Dance Performance, set to take place within Jeffrey Gibson’s exhibition, I AM YOUR RELATIVE. Olson-Pitawanakwat is a lifelong helper, diverse multimedia artist and member of Wikwemikong Unceded First Nation. As a Jingle Dancer, beadwork and spoken word artist, she emphasizes sharing her gifts of Indigenous artistry and leadership with the community.

Biography
Brianna Olson-Pitawanakwat is a Jingle Dress Dancer, Artisan, Indigenous birthworker and member of Wiikwemkoong unceded First Nation. She has taught powwow dance, performed in many venues and followed the powwow trail across turtle island for over 13 years. She is dedicated to Indigenous revitalization and language alongside sacred dances and traditions.
