Taking place within the exhibition Dancing in the Light on MOCA’s third floor, this event will connect a group of twenty emerging artists with three guest speakers, along with the museum’s curatorial team and guest curator for Dancing in the Light, Farida Abu-Bakare.

Participants will hear presentations by the invited guests on their work, and participate in guided conversations. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. The guest speakers will include Miguel A. Lopez, Co-Curator of the 2024 Toronto Biennial of Art, Simon Cole, Gallerist, and June Clark, a visual artist whose photography is currently featured in Dancing in the Light.
